In connection with a registration or purchase, you agree that we store and use your information in order to complete and provide the service needed to handle your purchase and follow it up. According to the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access your information and you can also request to be removed from our database. We assure you that we will not sell or transfer any personal information unless we are compelled by law or court order if a crime has been committed. We also use third-party services such as MailChimp and Google Analytics to collect anonymous information from our users in order to improve our website, products, and marketing. We have anonymized the information so that it cannot be traced to your IP number, and does not store any personally identifiable data.
There are two different types of cookies. Session cookies are stored temporarily in your computer’s memory while you are browsing the site. As soon as you close your browser, this temporary session cookie will be deleted. With temporary cookies you do not need to fill in forms repeatedly if you go back and forth between pages on the website. The second type of cookie stores a file on your computer for a long time. We use it, among other things, to make it easy for you when you revisit our website. If you have added something to your shopping cart and then closed your browser, you will be able to browse our website again at a later time and find the same shopping cart. This applies to both computers and mobile phones.
We use WordPress and WooCommerce on our website. The online store is managed with WooCommerce, which is a database where our products are stored. When you place an order, it ends up in a database on the web host server that we and their technicians have access to. The web host stores the information for us but does not process it in any way without our permission and only if we make a request. The order contains information about the products you bought from us, how you paid, and your shipment address, but no information regarding credit cards, social security numbers, or other such sensitive information is stored. We use MailChimp to send out newsletters. The information we send to MailChimp’s newsletter list is a first name, last name, and email address, which is only used to send out newsletters from time to time. We only send out newsletters when we have something important to share with you and we never do any third party advertising. It is easy to unsubscribe from the mailing list – just click on the link “unsubscribe” at the bottom of the newsletter.
We use Google Analytics to anonymously track approximate geographical region, page visits, products purchased and the like, in order to improve our website and to understand how our customers behave on the website. We have anonymized the information so that it cannot be traced to your IP number and we do not store any personally identifiable data, except when such information is provided by you, for example when a purchase is being made. To be able to deliver the goods to you, we need your name and address for notification. A telephone number or e-mail address may also be required. We then use this information to send deliveries to a shipping company so that they can transport the goods to you. The information is then stored in the shipping company’s records in connection with the order for traceability in their system. If you have any inquiries, please contact us here.
